Performance

There are many opportunities to perform at Sunset Ridge.

Fourth Grade

Students perform at the annual Holiday Concert in December. In February, there are individual Classroom shows. This year the show was”Stone Soup,”  which was presented in the lunchroom.

Fifth Grade

Performing Arts Presentation in the lunchroom, in November/December. Each class performs five songs, it is videotaped and a DVD is available for every student.

Talent Show

This is an all-school talent show for all students, presented in December. In order to be in the show, students show Mrs. Broos their act a week before the show

All-school Musical

This year’s music is HONK! presented in May. Tryouts are open to sixth through eighth grade students. Everyone gets a part. This year there are five different shows, with five different casts. Fourth and fifth graders sign up to be in the show. To date, there are 121 students currently in the show.

  • Annoucements

    "Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory" is the musical for next year. Tryouts will be the second week of school. If you would like a book before school starts, please email me.
